After her brief death, Vesper slips into a deep depression. No one (except maybe Hiroto) can lift her spirits. When she discovers the source of her condition stems from losing her gifts, she becomes even more irrational. Especially, when she has to attend Prince Rajkumar (Santi) Ranjit's New Year Eve celebration as the guest of honor. She ends up accepting a nanny position to help Santi and Gabriel.
